A Trip To Germany – As Shared by Lakshman Iyer
Lakshman Iyer – the VP of the Coralhub Publishing shared his experience with us. The nostalgic episode follows in his own word- I would be glad to share. There is enough in store to recall the cherished memories in terms of our learning, experience, the geo - social and cross - cultural effects. However with all I miss the thirst for a good food appetite which was almost a gruesome situation in the day hours. Other way around the fascinating evening was embellished with a respite of luck who had a good and big heart to treat us graciously. The delicious food made all our evenings delighted quenching our thirst with a nice Indian cuisine in store to grab.
A good way to start our days to keep us in a good business mode to act and react. Ironically, the vegetarians need to be testing waters , before they could grab in the business hours.
We had wonderful evenings with fruitful business work and new people to interact with. Oh! Yes how could I forget the tiring shopping with lots of baggages to carry while we returned. The shopping at Kuffohoff, virtually a kind of dream place for shopaholics and we aren't too far from getting caught in the web of shopping.
Jagdish bhai, the hotel owner takes all the pride to serve us a nice Indian curry with slice of good spicy dhal and sabji. The menus which we desire is quite deserving to; the low calorie, and higher vitamin food would slide to make us drive towards a nice late evening walk across the Kalterer Str.. As we were located at a small little village called Heppenheim a good night view covered with sky covered with stars and moon lighting our way to rooms. Evergreen and Go green in true sense... as that what you can see there till your eyesight gets engulfed with the natural awesome landscapes. The place of greenery staggered with nice little cottage homes resting silently in the semi-dark light.
A cold evening kissing you - a nice chill breeze keeps chasing your ways to make your stroll add with much of enthusiasm to your body and soul. Eventually, we take a break to warm our palms and ensure we are re-charged and re-energized.
We seldom miss the glimpse of nature's every bit of shower of blessed spell of fresh energy , air and greens, which makes us ecstatic.
smoking is all around an holy grail congesting with man-made pollution and needless to say, gruesome to health as well and non-smokers become passive smokers looks like beyond the obvious.
More to follow.....let's schenganize more....

Where Stays Happiness?
This is a very obvious question which startles us and we are lost in dismay as where does this simple word HAPPINESS exist. Sometimes I feel whether it is really there or it has kept herself dormant. Once I asked my mom, “Where does happiness stay?” to which my mom very reluctantly answered, “happiness is not what the outer world gives, it stays within you and you have to search it out”. That moment of time, I could not follow her words. But now as I reminisce, I recollect and try to understand each words of her. In a very simple language my mom wanted to tell me that happiness is when you feel happy not when others try to make you happy.
She was so true, an emotion which lives within us and we try to search it outside. We tend to search outside what we can develop or get from within. We never tend to look for the inner beauty which determines the outer being that appeals the most. Same happens with the our emotions. We tend to love others with the hope of getting love from them, trying to make them happy with aspiration that we too will be happy, we tend to laugh with others as that makes others laugh too. Really, are we superficial or is the world too mechanical?
I have searched every in and out to get the appropriate answer to the question arising in my mind like the endless waves of sea. It is then that I came across the the book 'Man's Search for Meaning: by Frankl, Viktor E. Lasch, Ilse Kushner, Harold S.'. This is a psychological book where the author tries to answer to all the indefinite questions and give meaning to the unknown queries. I found this book quite informative in terms of answering to my inquisitive mind. This book on psychology did make my mind light by reliving me from the questions. I find this book a good guidance to answer life in the best way.

Believe in Love... It Helps You Survive
I saw love in his eyes, I saw love in his care, I saw love in his words, I have seen love in every form of him. I did not believe in the this four lettered word. My concept, the way I derived the term love totally changed after I read the book P.S. I Love You. A fictitious book but never did I get so carried away. Only after reading this book is when I learnt what love is. I saw in him a different person which I was missing for the last five years. I really did not know that this single book can change my thoughts towards the most passionate feeling on earth. Here in this novel Gerry dies leaving his wife Holly. Gerry knew the hardship Holly would have to face after his death. He also knew the breakdown which she might go through after losing him. There was no way that Gerry could help her out.
After his death, Holly could not forget any instances where Gerry was present. She was in a complete state of shock . Her friends, family and relatives after trying their best couldn't bring her to the normal state. After few days Holly receives a packet with letters written by her dead husband. These letters bring back her lost confidence and make her strong enough to laugh again at life. This is love for me, the unconditional and unexplainable love.
It is not that you should always express your love, sometimes without converting your feelings into words just making that person feel your presence. Love is to believe and one should as it makes you grow.

Face Book: The Upcoming Face in Social Media Venture
Facebook, the hottest name in the social networking arena is now the most popular buzzword among the younger generation for the last six years. This popularity has signalled a red alert for Google. In fact, Facebook has superseded Google in terms of usage for social media purposes. Users now prefer Facebook instead of Orkut, the simplest reason being security and inclusion of various games and information received on the site.
Users on the site need information at the click of a button. Face book is aware of this and hence tries to update its sites everyday with a new concepts. The recent expansion in the site is the inclusion of a new software platform 'Open Graph'. This web page will not only work as a search engine but will guide users with the latest information. Face book has also joined hands with Yahoo and Microsoft, the hard core competitors of Google. This has just fueled the fire thus enhancing the battle between social network providers to boost there aggression towards Google.
According to Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive of social networking, “Open Graph is a new trans formative site which will help the users to find all new innovative ways of exploring the world of Internet”. He also added to the feature of the new website, “The chief tool will be the 'Like' icon. Users will click on the button next to an article to share it on their Facebook profiles without leaving the other website”. He is expecting more 400 million users for this new service.
This will explicitly reduce the ratings of Google in the market. Although, not much has been done to provide a privacy to the Internet users the coming innovations will do it. This is truly a battling year for Google as it has to beat out not only its ex-partner Apple but also confront Facebook which stands its way.

A New Slogan for Cricket: "We Eat IPL, We Speak IPL, We Sleep IPL"
I am not trying to be a critical to the recent trends, just that I get amazed with the present undertaking of such an exciting game. There was a time when cricketers were not paid appropriately unless the match was won. Now, they earn in millions; What a drastic change!
Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Sastri and others who gave India the most historic win in the year 1983 struggled to take this sport from eyes to heart. A sport which would entertains the audience with a sportsman's spirit has now majorly become a convenient way of earning money. May be this is what is called change with time and as a consequence we need to flow it. It is true that we get to see all efficient players under one roof, mixed and matched. Still, being a cricket lover at a point of time in the past, it hurts me. It could be that cricket is not losing its charm but one thing is sure that the sport is losing its mission, vision & values.
In these three years of IPL matches, how many of us remember the balling by Shane Warne or the sixes by Sachin Tendulkar? The match of world cup is still fresh in the mind of many Indians. The last historic balling of Kapil Dev which changed the entire scenario is still green in our thoughts. That was what a match should be like, where cricketers did not play, they lived cricket. The spectators did not watch, they felt every motion and action running through there veins.
Watching cricket was like a worship for me, and the cricketers my beloved Gods. No more do I feel the same emotions binding me to the sport. My request to avid Cricketers is: “ Do not play Cricket, Feel it”.
You could get some more from this book on IPL that I have come across on Coralhub.
